GRADES 9-12

We believe that students are an integral part of the church and we desire to form them into disciples of Jesus who are CONNECTING, GROWING, SERVING, and GOING.

  • We want each and every student to know that they are welcome, seen, and loved at Outlook. And, we want to deepen the bench for students, with multiple trusted adults who can walk in supportive relationships with them. We desire to come alongside and support parents as the primary disciple makers in their students’ lives.

  • We seek to utilize different learning styles and turn head knowledge into heart knowledge. We hope to see students own their faith, grow deeper as disciples, and know how to navigate this world with the unchanging hope of Jesus.

  • Each student is uniquely created and gifted, and has a vital place in the family of God. We want students to know and understand how their faith in Jesus extends beyond student ministry, and that they have something to contribute to the life of the church and to the world.

  • Encouraging students to represent Jesus as agents of hope and Kingdom workers wherever they go, in their own circles of influence.

Where to go…

  • On Sunday mornings, high schoolers are encouraged to attend worship together in the gym and serve on teams.

  • On Sunday Nights, from 6-8 p.m., we meet upstairs in the Student Loft for teaching, followed by small groups for guys and girls, creating space to go deeper in relationship with one another and our awesome adult leaders.

High School Retreat

High School Retreat

In a world filled with competing voices, shifting values, and complex cultural issues, how do we make sense of what’s true and how do we live in light of it? "Reframe" is a weekend high school retreat designed to help you pause, reflect, and explore what it means to follow Jesus not just in belief, but in every aspect of your day-to-day life.

This retreat will invite you into a space of honest discovery about how your faith is formed and lived out through the lens of Christ’s words in John 14:6 - where He declares that He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Through teaching, discussion, worship, and reflection, you’ll gain tools to build a biblically grounded, Christ-centered worldview - one that’s thoughtful, resilient, and rooted in grace and truth.

One that's been reframed through the lens of Christ.

The Details

  • Accommodations: Provision Lodge at Camp Allendale

  • Departure: Nov. 7 at 5:45 p.m. from the church (Your student will need to eat dinner before arriving at the church).
