GRADES 5-8
We believe that students are an integral part of the church and we desire to form them into disciples of Jesus who are CONNECTING, GROWING, SERVING, and GOING.
-
We want each and every student to know that they are welcome, seen, and loved at Outlook. And, we want to deepen the bench for students, with multiple trusted adults who can walk in supportive relationships with them. We desire to come alongside and support parents as the primary disciple makers in their students’ lives.
-
We seek to utilize different learning styles and turn head knowledge into heart knowledge. We hope to see students own their faith, grow deeper as disciples, and know how to navigate this world with the unchanging hope of Jesus.
-
Each student is uniquely created and gifted, and has a vital place in the family of God. We want students to know and understand how their faith in Jesus extends beyond student ministry, and that they have something to contribute to the life of the church and to the world.
-
Encouraging students to represent Jesus as agents of hope and Kingdom workers wherever they go, in their own circles of influence.
