NOMINATION OF THE OFFICE OF ELDER

Members of Outlook who are at least 18 years of age are encouraged to nominate candidates for the office of Elder, who will serve a 3-year term from 2026 through 2028. The annual affirmation of elders will be held at the conclusion of each worship service on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2024.
 
Elder candidates should have a respectable lifestyle of devotion to Jesus, teaching the Scriptures, and serving others. Each month, Elders engage in hours of study, prayer, and meetings, providing oversight for the church to keep it fruitful and faithful.

New Testament qualifications for an Elder are found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4.

Nominations must be made in writing include the nominating member’s name. They may be sent or given to Senior Minister, Rob McCord or any Elder by Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025.
